A Tale of Two Angels

We had a visit from Our Little Princesses and Katy this weekend. It's the end of the school year. Since Travis teaches High School English, this time of year he has many essays to read which takes peace and quiet and concentration. Those are hard to get when you have a two-year-old and a four-year-old in the house. So, instead of trying to keep them quiet for a large part of the weekend, Katy brings them home. BONUS!

On Friday evening after they arrived, we were sitting outside in the the front yard swing. Katy and I were visiting while the girls played in the yard. That's when it happened. Princess J mugged an angel.

The little angel on the left sits on a cinder block and keeps watch over my herb garden which is behind the swing. We turned around and saw that one little angel had been replaced with another.

She's definitely an original!

  1. OMGoodness! How cute can you get?! That is so funny! And of course, the little princess doesn't think a thing of it - this is how it should be, grandma!

  2. Oh the new angel is definitely cuter than the old angel was! It was all gray and stone faced -- the new angel has a much brighter smile, too!

  3. Oh, that is a clever girl you have there. Adorable.
